A functional and stylish built-in wardrobe in the hallway
Wesley has set a new standard for built-in wardrobes with his project. This custom-made piece in the hallway combines style with functionality, offering both storage space and a visually elegant addition to the interior.
Structure and details
The cabinet is made of high-quality, white MDF Primed and features long, dark wooden handles that contrast beautifully with the white cabinet doors. This sleek finish gives the cabinet a modern and minimalist look.
Perfect placement
Placing the cabinet in the hallway is ideal. Here, it serves as a spacious storage unit where coats, shoes, and other accessories can be neatly and orderly stored. The custom-made cabinet fits perfectly from floor to ceiling, so not a single inch is wasted.
Unique features
What makes this cabinet truly unique are the wooden handles that run vertically along the cabinet doors. This not only enhances the aesthetics but also provides a comfortable grip when opening the cabinet. Furthermore, the cabinet's interior is spacious and versatile, with multiple shelves and hanging options.

Step by step guide
Preparation
- In the first step, I created the frame of the built-in wardrobe. I used standard IKEA dimensions for this. Then I measured and ordered all the doors. I ordered them with a primer for good adhesion and a smooth finish.
Montage
- First, I drilled the holes for the hinges using a special drilling template. Then I painted the doors in two coats of the desired color. Then I mounted the hinges and hung the doors.
Finish
- After installing the doors, I had oak handles milled. I stained these in the desired color and screwed them to the cabinet doors.
